Augustus Williams is a Detroit techno artist, DJ, and live-hardware performer with more than two decades in the city’s underground. A Metroplex recording artist signed to Juan Atkins’ foundational label, he builds floor-driven techno in real time from drum machines and sequencers, moving fluidly between DJ, hybrid, and full live-hardware sets.
His machine-driven sound has carried him from Detroit warehouses to Movement Festival stages and Detroit-Berlin cultural exchange projects, with a focus on rhythm, pressure, discipline, and the living architecture of the dance floor.
